Resources
The UCC has relationships with mental health treatment providers in the local community who provide high-quality services to students, faculty, staff, and family. We refer students to these community providers when a student needs or requests services that are beyond the scope of those the UCC can reasonably provide. Examples of this include circumstances in which longer-term, more intensive, or more specialized treatment are indicated. During the intake appointment and initial evaluation period, the intake counselor, often in consultation with other UCC staff, will help the student determine whether an off-campus referral is indicated, and those treatment providers most appropriate for the student’s needs.
